The Fruit Man

He's been dieing to plant a fruit garden. He has a HUGE list. So yesterday he bought a 4 pack of grape vines. He's outside now looking for the "perfect" spot to plant them. Hopefully the wind won't rip them apart. It's going to take some work. The grass is pretty thick where I think they should go on the kitchen side of the house ;) After this he says he wants raspberries!

A Contest

They're almost all here

One more order of seeds to arrive. Yay! Luckily most of what we ordered are supposed to go right into the ground. According to "everyone" we should have already started sprouting the seeds. Oh well. We live in Texas. We can practically grow anytime we want. Right? The boys want "real" veggies that are unusual. I think one of them said purple or "glow in the dark". Glow in the Dark!!!?

They thought they could stump me on that one I found a tomato called Fantome du Laos. Legend tells of it "glowing in the dark" and tasty too. They are from Amishland Heirloom Seeds
This lady has tons of the neatest stuff. I had to make a second order. That's the order I am waiting on. In it is a tomato that looks like brains lol It's called Riesentomate aus Siebenbürgen Tomato. This is going to be a fun year of gardening.

How am I?

I could be better! This tickle induced cough is going to kill me I think. It wakes me up in the night. At least the fever is gone now. Had that for 4 DAYS!!! Deven has the same thing. Poor boy. Poor hubby is probably the real story here. haha I love him
